Seamus Ireland-Wright

I’m Seamus Ireland-Wright, a recovering drug addict from Seattle, WA. I used just about every drug I could for nearly 10 years before finally getting sober at South Texas Recovery Foundation. I had been to several treatment centers before, but something about working on a farm and actively doing my 12 Steps really made something click for me.

After getting sober, I stayed on and worked at South Texas Recovery Foundation for six months. I recently moved to Austin with my girlfriend, and I truly love it here—it’s the nicest city I’ve ever lived in. The recovery community in Austin has been exactly what I needed to continue growing in sobriety.

In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants and going on little hikes. But more than anything, my favorite thing to do in Austin is, come out to Ranch House and share the same gift that was freely given to me. Today, my life is blessed in ways I never thought possible.
