Brandon Guinn
Founder & CEO, Ranch House Recovery
A father, farmer, and former teacher who built a men's recovery program around the things that actually rebuild a life: daily structure, honest work, and community that does not let go.

Brandon Guinn is the Founder and CEO of Ranch House Recovery, a community-centered program for men recovering from addiction, set on a working ranch outside Austin in Elgin, Texas. His path into recovery work is personal. As the father of a son who spent years in recovery, he came to understand how much of lasting healing happens outside a clinic, and he set out to build a place that reflected that.
Before founding Ranch House Recovery, Brandon led in several different fields. He owned and operated Red E Construction, managing commercial and residential projects. He worked as a Special Education Teacher with the Austin Independent School District. He served as Fitness Director at Gold's Gym, designing programs for clients at every level, and he is a franchise owner of Fit Kids America, an after-school enrichment and fitness program.
That range shapes how he runs the program today. Brandon believes long-term healing does not come from short stays or sobriety alone, but from daily structure, meaningful connection, and purpose-driven routine. Under his leadership, Ranch House Recovery weaves together holistic practices, from sustainable farming and animal care to community service and peer support, to help men rebuild identity, stability, and hope.
His approach drew national attention in 2024, when Ranch House Recovery and its therapeutic partner, Simple Promise Farms, were featured in the documentary Recovering America: A Film About Healing Our Addiction Crisis, which brought the program into the national conversation on recovery and resilience. Brandon has since been interviewed by national press on the peer-to-peer model at the heart of his work.
For Brandon, the goal was never sobriety as a finish line. It is belonging, repaired relationships, and systems of support that hold up for a lifetime. He lives that philosophy on the ranch every day, alongside the men he serves.
