Jack Provost
Operations Manager and Personal Trainer
Jack Provost is a Mentor at Ranch House Recovery, assisting the clients in their sobriety needs outside of sponsorship. Jack is also the Fitness Coordinator, coaching and educating clients on physical fitness. He recognizes the importance of exercise as an aid to one’s recovery by improving self confidence, which addiction often times destroys, as well as teaching a healthy outlet for clients.
Jack was a licensed real estate agent in California and commercial property manager. Through years in the industry, he learned valuable skills such as dynamic problem solving, critical communication, and meeting different people where they’re at.
Jack is a person in recovery who values appreciation, compassion, humility, tolerance, and family. All of these values have been shown to him during his stay at Ranch House, which made such a deep impact that he felt called to join as staff and show clients they are cared for in the same manner he was. He has set out to make a difference in other men in recovery’s lives in the same way that they have set him up for success. He emphasizes utilizing all that Ranch House offers such as the horses, Simple Promise Farms, exercise, help with access to 12 step sponsorship, and helping the community of Elgin since altogether they did what previous attempts of sobriety could not do.
In his free time, Jack enjoys playing ice hockey, spending time with his cats and girlfriend, boating on Lake Travis with his family, cooking, and exercising with his sponsor.
